OUR TEAM:

Tyler Crow is the Founder of ACE Property Management and has been involved with Property Management since 2010. His values and skills set ACE Property Management apart from other property management companies.

Tyler grew up on a ranch near Hill City where he adopted a passion for honesty, integrity, hard work, repair and construction to improve things, and looking out for others. He earned a Finance degree with a Real Estate Certificate and a minor in Accounting from the University of Wyoming after which he became an agricultural finance analyst and lender until the market slowed.

During this time, he owned multiple rental properties and did his own repair work in addition to completely remodeling his own residence by self-performing most of the residential construction trades. Once his home was completed, it was natural for him to make his values and skills available to other Property Owners and Tenants through ACE Property Management. His years of experience with finance, real estate, and full scope of residential construction allows him to anticipate and resolve issues before they become a larger problem.

Tyler and Rachel, his wife of over 20 years and trusted business partner, have two wonderful college age daughters and a grade school aged young boy. He enjoys taking the family backpacking to see untouched beautiful areas. 

Rachel Crow co-owner of ACE Property Management LLC, is a lifetime resident of Rapid City.  After graduating from Stevens High School, she earned her degree in Accounting from the University of Wyoming at Laramie.  Rachel spent the next 15 years raising her and Tyler’s three children.

With the growth of the company, Rachel became more heavily involved in 2019 and is responsible for marketing, leasing, tenant relations, contracts and scheduling.  Her direct involvement in all aspects of operations provides Property Owners and Tenants the reassurance that we have a team approach to ensure Accountable, Complete and Effective services.

Rachel enjoys spending time with her family and close friends.  She is also passionate about exploring the many National Parks that are available to us all. 

Shannon Caperton Bookkeeper, was born and raised in Lewistown, Il.  However, she has called Rapid City and the Black Hills home for over 30 years.  For twenty of those years, Shannon was the Contracts Administrator for a local heavy/highway contractor.  She came to work for Ace Property Management in 2019.

Shannon is responsible for all things financial, contractual and customer relations.

She enjoys spending quality time with family, close friends and various volunteer projects within our community.

Tim Loynd Maintenance Manager, is a new addition to ACE Property Management in 2024.  Tim is handling all maintenance requests from tenants/owners through the use of local software company, Property Meld.  He also manages larger projects that may include a remodel, landscaping, flooring, etc., working closely with property owners and vendors.

Tim’s experience includes management in the restaurant and retail industries, IT in an educational setting and finally as a handyman for the last seven years.  His knowledge of management, computers and construction make him the perfect fit for our/your maintenance needs.

Tim enjoys snowmobiling, RC vehicles, plastic model building and music.  He has been married to his beautiful wife, Dee, since 2001 and has one daughter.

Michelle Aufdengarten Office Manager, Michelle Aufdengarten   Office Manager was born in Wyoming and grew up in Arkansas & Nebraska. She and her husband relocated to Rapid City with their 4 children in 2006. Michelle has worked in Hospitality since the early 90's with the last 15 years in management. She believes that providing excellent service with integrity are the keys to success and enjoys working with people.

Michelle enjoys spending time with her family and in her free time her favorite activities are baking, reading and listening to music.
